Heather Taylor, LPN
Heather Taylor is a certified LPN and the founder of Taylortox Aesthetics. She has over 15 years experience working in the Health Care field as a CCA, Ward Clerk, and with VON. She completed her aesthetics training with CBAM (Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine) in Toronto. Heather has a vibrant and outgoing personality and is continually trying to learn, grown, and improve her aesthetic skills by attending training and keeping up with the latest technologies used in the medical aesthetics field.
She absolutely loves working in the industry and she loves that she gets to be a part of the journey to empowering both women and men to feel beautiful in their own skin.
When not at the clinic, Heather loves to spend time with her husband, two daughters, and step-son.
Courtney Blinkhorn, Esthetician
Courtney Blinkhorn is a certified esthetician that has been in the industry since 2019. She graduated from CBBC Regency in Halifax where she was able to gain the skills and knowledge to confidently provide a range of services.
Courtney has a particular passion for skin care. She has been affected by melanoma at the early age of 31. This experience has evolved into a dedication to proper skin care.
Courtney had a previous career as a paralegal for six years but realized that it didn’t align with her passion for self care. She loves to makes others feel and look great. Her calming nature and sense of humor (Cape Bretoner) is a perfect mixture.
Outside of the clinic, Courtney loves to spend time with her partner Tyler and her two cats. She also spends a fair amount of time on Facetime with her sister and baby niece, Jade, who live in Montreal. She also loves sailing and traveling to warm destinations.
Amanda Ballum, RMT
Amanda is an RMT originally educated in Ontario who moved permanently to Nova Scotia in 2020. Amanda provides treatments that are in a safe, relaxed, judgement free space, to ensure clients leave her feeling completely relaxed in both body and mind.
She holds particular interests in the treatment of TMJ and spinal issues, such as scoliosis. Amanda spends any down time with her family.
Krista Allen, LPN
Krista has been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2009, spending her career in long term care and community care. She took a basic foot care course 6 years ago and has now expanded her knowledge by taking Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care Courses.
Amanda Rafuse
She’s the smiling face that greets all of the clients here at Taylortox, and the magic maker behind all of the social media graphics and accounts.
She comes from a diverse background: a Web Designer, Graphic Designer, Admin Assistant, Accountant, Shipping Coordinator, Health & Wellness Coach and Podcaster…she is sort of the jack of all trades!
Mandy, who is also Heather’s cousin, came on board in the summer of 2021, and has been loving every single minute since! She loves the clients and is absolutely obsessed with the ZO Skin Health product line. She is dedicated to ensuring that Taylortox’s comfortable and friendly environment helps clients feel at ease, taken care of, and most importantly confident that they are in the best hands with access to the latest technology.
